Sterling silver is meant to be worn. A little attention helps it keep its clarity and finish.

Daily care

Put jewelry on after lotion, perfume, sunscreen, and hair products have dried. Remove it before swimming, bathing, exercising, or using household cleaners. Wipe each piece with a clean, soft cloth after wear.

Cleaning sterling silver

1. Use a silver polishing cloth for light tarnish.
2. If a deeper clean is needed, use lukewarm water, a small amount of mild soap, and a very soft brush.
3. Rinse briefly and dry completely with a lint-free cloth.

Storage

Store pieces dry and separately in a pouch or closed box. Limiting air, humidity, and friction helps reduce tarnish and scratching.

A note on tarnish

Tarnish is a normal surface reaction in sterling silver, not proof that the metal is defective. Wear, climate, skin chemistry, and storage can change how quickly it appears.
